Negotiations Update from the MEC: Unanimous Approval for TA3

Negotiations Update from your MEC
March 23rd, 2016

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

It is with great pleasure that the Spirit Airlines AFA-CWA Master Executive Council (MEC) announces the unanimous approval to forward the tentative agreement reached on March 18, 2016 to the membership for formal ratification.

The unanimous approval vote followed two days of a thorough and complete document review.  The MEC examined each section of the proposed agreement and is confident that this agreement represents significant gains for the Flight Attendant group.

The MEC wishes to thank our AFA-CWA Senior Staff Negotiator Paula Mastrangelo for her skill, her tenacity and her dedication in working with your leadership to achieve an agreement for which we can be very proud to submit to you for your consideration and your vote.

It is anticipated that the complete text of the tentative agreement will be published on the spiritafa.org website on March 29, 2016.

We also express our gratitude to the AFA-CWA Director of Collective Bargaining Joe Burns and our AFA-CWA International President Sara Nelson for their unwavering support through this long process.  We also thank you our Spirit Airlines Brothers and Sisters for your patience, your support and your confidence as we worked to reach an agreement that recognizes our value to Spirit Airlines.

.

In Solidarity,
